In November, 2012, at the instigation of Quaker Tom Rothschild, Hibakusha Stories visited a small group of students and faculty at Brooklyn Friends School.  Head of School Larry Weiss enthusiastically endorsed the program and invited Hibakusha Stories to return to address the entire school in May, 2013.

Ari Beser, who joined the Hibakusha Stories team in May, addresses a small group. He is the grandson of Jacob Beser a radar specialist aboard both the Enola Gay and Bock’s Car, the B-29s that dropped the bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Beser is the only member of the strike crew of both missions, May, 2013
