On opening night, Eiko Otake, a Guggenheim and MacArthur fellow and Youth Arts New York team member, performed with the Hiroshima Panels as part of her two year-long solo project A Body in Places and Yukinori Okamura led the assembled audience on a guided lecture of the panels. Approximately 500 people were in attendance.
