In November, 2016, Youth Arts New York board member Sandy Parker hosted Hiroshima hibakusha Shigeko Sasamori and Nagasaki hibakusha Yasuaki Yamashita for a week of programming in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Kathleen Sullivan and Robert Croonquist led workshops at Holland Hall and Booker T. Washington high schools, Tulsa Community College and at the University of Tulsa.
